Before You Toss Out All Those Halloween Pumpkins, You Need To Try These FREE Simple & Fast Skin Care Recipes Today

Don't throw away those pumpkins just yet.

Having healthy skin means treating it with the best, natural ingredients that you can get your hands on. So why not save some money and re-use something you may already have lying around? How about an ingredient that’s packed full of zinc, antioxidants, vitamins A, K, and C, alpha-hydroxy acids, fruit enzymes, and more? What about an ingredient that The International Dermal Institute credits as something that can help smooth and brighten skin, nourish it, and even help boost collagen to fight signs of aging?

Want to know what it is? The simple pumpkin. That’s right. So, for all of us who will have some lying around (especially if you opted to paint your pumpkins instead of carving them this year!), here’s how you can go all-natural and indulge yourself with your own beauty treatment.

Pumpkin Facial Mask for all skin types

You will need:

1 Cup Pumpkin
-puree or out of a can. To puree yourself (for a truly all-natural experience), follow these simple instructions: allrecipes.com/recipe/22935/pumpkin-puree/

2 tablespoons Brown Sugar

1 tablespoon Honey

½ cup Yogurt

Directions: Spread a thin coating onto your face with your fingertips. Leave on skin for 8-10 minutes.

The brown sugar and yogurt are exfoliants that will rub away dead skin cells, while honey is a humectant that absorbs water from the air and naturally moisturizes skin.

Pumpkin Facial Mask for dry skin

You will need:

¼ Cup Pumpkin Puree

1 teaspoon Olive Oil

1 teaspoon Honey

1 whole egg

Directions:  Mix the ingredients until smooth and apply to face. Leave on for 20 minutes (you will feel it tighten), rinse, and pat dry.

Pumpkin Pedicure

You will need:

½ cup pureed pumpkin

1 egg

½ tsp honey

Directions: Combine all the ingredients and blend together. Apply the pumpkin mixture to your feet and ankles. Wrap your feet in plastic bags or plastic wrap. Leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

Hand revitalizer

You will need:

¼ cup Pumpkin Puree

1 teaspoon Almond or Olive Oil

1 teaspoon Honey

Directions: Mix these ingredients together and massage them into your hands. Try to do it over a sink to avoid any messes. Massage for as long as it feels good! 😊 Then, rinse with warm water.

Luscious Lips

You will need:

¼ teaspoon Pumpkin Puree

¼ teaspoon Coconut Oil

½ teaspoon Sugar

Directions: Rub on lips and gently massage to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. Sure, you could rinse it off. But, my advice to you? Just lick it off.  Sounds better that way anyway, doesn’t it??
